2005 F-250 V8 Fuel Tank Filling Problem
At work we have a 2005 F-250 extended cab long box 4x4 with the V8 in it. We are having issues with filling up the fuel tank. You put the nozzle in and it keeps clicking off. Why is this?? Is there a vent tube that is unhooked or something along those facts? They tell me it has been in the ford dealership a couple of times to be looked at and always comes back the same!
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
Andrew

i think its a common issue as i have a 87 f-350 crew and a 94 f-350 crew one is gas the other diesel and both have the same problem i just set the pump as slow as i can and just Wait patiently until they are full

If your fuel fill hose gets a kink in it , it will slow the escaping air from the tank, making the nozzle think its full. If it gets kinked badly this can cause your problem. I replaced the tank in my 95 andI had a kink in it. The fuel went in faster than the line would take it and it backs up and cuts off the pumps nozzle.
