Default 2005 F250 How to lock out overdrive?

I recently purchace a 2005 F250 with 5 speed automatic transmision, 5.4L engine, 3.73 gears, 285/70/17 tires, superchips power program installed on 87. When towing on flat ground it is fine. When towing on a hills it sucks, overdrive kicks in going down the hill, then going up the hill it struggles firs then downshifts halfway up. My 98 F150 had the OD lockout that worked great. The tow/haul feature doesnt do much of anything. Does anyone know how to lockout OD on a 2005 F250? The gear select has 1 2 3 then D and OD are the same selection with no lockout. What were they thinking?
Thanks,
Jeff
