Default 2006 Ford F250 6.0. Instrument panel, Radio & Windows quit working.

While driving everything just goes off and a few minutes later it comes back on.. I have checked all that I know to check. Took it and had a scan done, they said it had 14 codes.. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated..

Always a good starting point,
Check all the fuses and clean and reinstall all the grounds you can see..

After checking for fuses, if you have no luck there, then I would say the Instrument Cluster (HEC) needs to be reworked. Circuit Board Medics does a nice job.

All of those things you mentioned are controlled by the delayed accessory relay (part of the HEC). You know how when you turn off your truck, and the radio continues to play until you open a door? And after 10 minutes of listening to the radio it then shuts itself off? That is all controlled by the delayed accessory relay. I think yours is loose, or something is loose in that circuit.

Howdy hanky! Things are going well, but pretty busy. Been hit by a lot of home projects. Foundation problems have caused a lot of problems inside the house. Also, my 2006 truck reached 210k miles recently and has needed quite a few suspension and steering repairs. Pretty much done on that. I suspect u-joint work in the near future, but not an immediate need.

How have you been? Looks like you and Hayapower have been answering most of the posts over here!

Sorry to hear about the house foundation problems. Have had a few like that and they can take up your time. Always glad to have some help answering the requests. It's probably me , but some of them are getting more and more difficult to try to offer the correct assistance/answers. It's a pretty good forum and feels like a family member just came home when someone comes back to help, thanks. Hayapower is the guy minding the store and he has his finger on the pulse, that's for sure !
