Another 5.4 3 valve that failed. 2007 F250 5.4L 3 valve - 2 wheel drive.
A reman swap will cost more then the truck is worth.
Its a work truck, so no real personal attachment. Just need it to run , correctly, and cost effectively.
Anyone do a 3 valve to 2 valve swap ? Or know where I can find a link on such a swap?
The E250s still had 2 valve motors for 2007 and similar year vans. I can get a wrecked similar year E250 with a 5.4 - 2 valve for cheap. Like $600-$900 cheap.
It would be a running truck with , trans, wiring harness, computer, etc....
I did a search but didn't find anything and such a swap.
To complicated? To expensive?
