Exclamation 2008 6.4 coolant issues

Hi Folks. New here. Been trolling around the forum looking for any answers for my issue(s) but it seems everyone's is slightly different.
2008 F350 6.4 with 190k kms SRW
EOT and ECT are within 8° of each other when at operating temps but when I put any load on it ECT rises faster and when over 200° she'll burp coolant out the degas/reservoir. Only just started doing this.
My initial searches keep coming back to thermostat elongation and worst case scenario head gasket (don't want to go there!)
I've looked for leaking and there is some very small white residue right side of engine but that could be from the burps, nothing major and no yellow staining either.
My MAIN question is: What to do first? Really good flush and new thermostats? (probably orignials)
Thanks, Bill

From the description you provide, it sounds like you are looking at a head gasket job. There is a lot to this and it never hurts to get a 2nd and 3rd opinion.
