A few days ago I purchased a brand new 2008 f-250 Lariat. As you owners may know, this rig has the keyless entry system or whatever you want to call it. The dealer I bought this truck from was not very thorough on showing me the vehicle, although he let me keep it over-night prior to the purchase. My grandson, my trucking helper and I were trying to figure out what the Factory pre-set code for the 5 button entry thing to the left of the driver's door handle. I know I would lock the keys in the truck alot so this would help. My dealer did not tell me the factory pre-set code for the door and I was wondering what it was? If any of you owners could help me it would be greatly appreciated!

The security code card is, or should be in the zipped hand book cover in the glove box..

 

Like Hayapower said, should be in the zippered owners manual case on a card. If it is not, you should go back to the dealer and request the number or contact ford. If the code is lost, you should be able to have it reprogrammed at the dealer. Once you get the code, if you would rather use another code, you can program it in but the original code always works.
