I was looking into getting a cold air intake system for my 6.4 and was wondering. Why can't I just build my own from pvc pipe and a dryer lint connector. And also build the air filter cover from ply wood or something of that nature. If anyone out there knows any ideas or have seen this done let me know. Thank you

 

You will most likely suck the dryer lent connector into your turbo. They are not designed for a vacuum. Just send the 300 bucks on one and be done with it.
