2012 F350 Check Engine issue?
Hello Everyone,
New to this forum and am hoping to learn the finer points of my 2012 F350 Lariat. The "bus" as she is affectionately called is my 1st 1-ton. My last Ford was a 96 F250 diesel. Ok, enough back story.
The '12 has a check engine light randomly coming on. Code error reads for EGR issues.
A couple of interesting observations are, #1 The truck runs better with the check engine light on, good acceleration, gas mileage about 16.3 , #2 Gas mileage falls to 13 when the check engine light goes off. #3 Related? My DEF tank only gets 600 miles per gallon. Truck has been used for towing prior to my purchase. Currently has 130k miles.
Death wobble was greatly reduced by removing the Michelin Tires.
