Hello all,
I bought a 2013 F-250 XLT with no tailgate and bought a matching lariat tailgate with the oem backup camera and wiring. I’d like to swap in a lariat 8 inch screen as shown in the last photo, but I’ve never done a dash swap before. I would like to know if it is just plug and play, or if it will need anything other than just swapping the pieces. My truck has Bluetooth, voice command, and sync (sync 2 I believe). Can I just buy any 2013-2016 dash or does it have to match the sync I have, and will it need any additional wiring or messing with the computer? I have no experience in this and any help is greatly appreciated. Do I need to swap the whole dash or can I just swap the center piece with the screen? Thanks in advance, God bless.
