I have a 2017 f250 6.7 and when I am driving my head unit will shut off and it will say “ system off to save battery” “ please turn ignition off or start engine”
it will only do this every now and then. I took it to ford and they said it was the gateway module replaced it and all was fine until about 3 months later and it started doing it again. It now happens every time I have the truck on driving. It’ll happen about every 5 or so minutes. Anyone have any ideas on what could be going on?

 

If its stock radio try to do a factory reset, check your owner manual.
