Default 2017 F350 Parts Problems

From what I understand, nothing but the body's changed on the new 17s. Does anyone know if this is true or not? If it is, then all H-E-double hockey sticks is about to break loose.

Long story short, special ordered a 2017 F350, it hit on 3/9. Since the beginning we've had trouble with the transmission. No codes thrown, and intermittent issue. So Ford went to throwing parts at it. First was the cylanoid on the converter, and replaced the main valve body. Sent it home to me with a "hope" that it was fixed... Had it home less that 24 hours before it did the same problem, times 100. They're now telling me they need to replace the torque converter, and there is a 3.5-4 week lead time before the part is even available... Until then, I'm going to be making a $1,200/month payment on a $72,000 truck that isn't safe to drive...Seems a little fishy to me that the torque converters are on such a backorder, yet they're denying that there's a problem company wide versus just my truck. Anyone else smelling something stinky? We're now on week 5 (total time) of this truck being at the dealership in the 9 weeks that I've owned the truck, while I'm stuck with a 1/2 ton loaner when I bought a 1 ton for a reason.

Before anyone asks, yes, I've called Ford Customer Service and downright blew a gasket, they're "looking into it". Yes, the service manager has called, they've also put an Emergency tag on the part order as well as opened a PACO. The only thing that hasn't been done is them fixing the freaking truck or me getting a lemon law specialist involved.
