2019 F350 6.2 Gasoline engine.
Hello all,
Just checking for my Son. He just traded his 2020 F150 for a 2019 F350 6.2 (Country boyz and their toys) Ha Ha. Anyway It looks good and seems to run very good. I'd like to know how reliable the 6.2 is, any mechanical things to worry about?
Thanks

It's still under warranty so issues that do arise should be handled by Ford. The best thing he can do is the regular scheduled maintenance. I can't find a video youtube for reliability issues. I think watch for surface rust underneath. See TFL Truck 6 month 2020 Ford review. Being this a gasoline engine it should have fewer problems than a diesel.
The 6.2 has a long history of being a reliable engine, personally I think the 6.2 is great for an F250 but I would have gotten a 6.7 in a F350.
Back to the 6.2 the biggest surprise people have is that it has 16 spark plugs, 2 per cylinder. Each cylinder has a normal coil on plug with a distributor style wire going to the second spark plug, after say 5+ years these wires do end up breaking down and need to be replaced just like distributor wires use to be replaced periodically.
