Have a 94 F250 with a 5.8 fuel injection and an E4OD auto trans. The trans was rebuilt March of 07. Shortly after, a speed sensor code has been popping up randomly and very intermittent. Since the beginning of this issue, I have done the following things twice;
1) the plug connection for the RABS valve on the frame was full of water. Eliminated the plug and, rewired it direct to the firewall.
2) new vss in rear diff.
3) rewired vss from front to back.
4) cleaned all pin connections in the pcm.
5) cleaned all pin connections on all three wire harnesses in the firewall.
6) changed the abs module behind glovebox.
7) rewired the speed sensor in the transfer case as well.
Does anyone have anything else I could try to stop this vss from slam shifting my trainy?
