Just bought a 2011 F250. Multiple hitch retailers are saying there are NO specs for the 2011 trucks as to which hitch fits. They are not sure if 2010 specs work on the 2011? Anyone out there have a hitch installed on a 2011 F250? We need at least a 15K. Truck is already factory prepped to receive a 5th wheel hitch. Thanks for any help.

 

aloebick, did you ever get this figured out? I see no one has had anything to say for 4 years. But I have some intrest in putting a 5th wheel hitch in my 05 250, How can you tell if its set up for a hitch?

 

According to the Ford Accessories site the part number needed for a 2011 is BC3Z-19D520-C (we have it available here: #BC3Z19D520C: KIT - TRAILER HITCH BAR)

I have 2011 F450 https://bestoutdooritems.com/best-5th-wheel-hitch/ with the Ford accesory 25K Reese Elite hitch. I have a 3400RL with MorRyde hitch and had not experienced any problems. My truck also came with the spray liner.

 

B&W Hitch has a listing for the ford from 2011 on, for the turnoverball hitch. complete kit part number is GNRK1111 to fit the 2011-2015 3/4 and 1-ton super duty long and short bed trucks. may be available for later models as well, you would have to confirm with B&W. i believe this is the 20k hitch.
