Hows everyone doing? anywho im looking in to getting a usedtruck a 2005, 2006 maby 2007f-250 and I seen people taking about there trucks having problems on othere fourms.I already found the trucks one is a red 06 and a gray 05 and i hear the 6.0 has problems such as shutting off, lost of power. i was woundering if it was just a couple of trucks 6.0's with this problem are all of themand i was alsowoundering if there any sings that will let me know if the motor is bad? d/c i dont want to buy a truck that already has problems.

When concidering a used truck/6.0,,, prior to purchase, have your dealer run the Oasis Report byVIN .. It'll showwaranty repairs performed, calibration updates, Recalls completed ect.and will give a 'paper history' of work done at the dealer level..

I've personally owned two 6.0's,,, a very'early' build (thought to be the most troublesome build) 03 Super Cab, and my current 05 Crew Cab, Both that have/had been performance tuned to close to 400HP with no problems.. Nonefor stall, or zero driveablilty/performance problems..

..NO... Not all of them have problems, but I am witnessed to some that have..
