74 f250 custom power steering issue Help!!!!!

Default 74 f250 custom power steering issue Help!!!!!

Hi there i just bought a 74 f250 custom 4x4 and the power steering is not hooked up so as im looking at it I noticed there is 4 lines coming out of the box 2 go to the pumpand the other 2 run over to the passenger side just above the leaf spring and are not conected to anything and I can not find where they go pls help

OE equipment in 74 250 would have had a directional control valve/body (4 hoses) as the steering link from a manual style S/box connected to the left spindle arm, and a PS assist cylinder down low. The 4 lines on the box, your referring to the control valve?

Wasn't a great setup for the most part, more so with age. Some like'em, most don't. And the aftermarket hose sets were really junk later on IMO. Obsolete from Ford many years ago.. Sounds like yours missing the axle tube cylinder bracket, and assist cylinder at the least..
