the other day i came back from washing my truck and my truck sputtered and died. i opened the hood and found an almost broken wire on the ignition coil i fixed the wire and the truck started up and i drove about 1/4 mile till my house. when i tryed to turn the truck on again the motor would skip really bad and eventually die. then the truck wouldnt start up again unleess i was moving wires around on the coil. then when i tryed starting my truck i flipped the tank selector back and forth and the truck started and ran fine. this stalled on me about a week ago ad started right on and was fine until i stalled out recently. could this be an intermitting fuel pump failure or something else. i plow for the state so i need my truck to be fixed asap. please help thanks sooo much

 

Could be a fuel pump relay issue. Check to see if it is mounted properly, otherwise water will seep into it and casue problems.
