Default 95 Ford f 250 diesel prob

I have a 95 diesel that is acting like it is running out of fuel going down the road. At stop signs it will die sometimes and take a few cranks to start up again, like it is out of fuel. I changed the fuel filter on top of the motor and dumped sea foam in the tanks to clean the injectors. Still does it, I have not checked for codes yet though. I did change my fuel pump less than a year ago which I got from Oreillys.. I also change the rubber lines to the filter and washers at the banjo bolt. Am I missing a fuel filter or fuel pump somewhere? Any ideas?

Could this problem be a bad injector wire? I looked at everything I could see and nothing is loose or broke, I hope some one here has an idea of what it could be..

Do I need to use a code reader or is there another way to find out if it is the Cam Sensor.

you would need a scan tool and when it stalls crank engine over and watch to see if you get a rpm signal.I have one in stock it is only 14.91 www.discountedgenuinefordparts.com not a bad place to start.

If the CMP dies, you won't have an RPM signal at the dash tach either... CMP failures are common, and if the unit is the original wouldn't hurt to replace, but not the only thing to cause a stall.. After a stall, and a restart, does it run smooth?

yes it will run fine for a while, it seems like it does it when holding a constant speed or stopped to long.
Where is the CMP and can I change it?
