Ok the 215 amp alt is alot bigger than the 130amp and are not interchangeable

 

I had the same problem with my f 250 7.3 litre. I found in the bottom of the fuel bowl that 7 orings when the filter was changed the old rings must have fallen of and were blocking the fuel to the injector pump. Have a look!

 

Truck is running great now, must have beent the CPS. Now all I got to do is fix the glow plugs and get a bigger altenator.
