Hey guys, I know this has been asked over and over, I just can't find exact answers to my questions on this matter. I have a 96 f350 7.3l and I'm trying to swap a manual in it. I found a donor truck that is a 93 with the zf5. Has everything but the motor, which I don't need of course. My questions are, will the electronics like the tranny wiring, and pcm work? Can I swap the 93 electronics into my 96? Also, on the back of my 7.3l there is a spacer before the auto trans. Is that the same spacer for a manual, or do I need a new one, or get rid of it? Any help or comments will be appreciated.

Pretty sure you won't be able to swap out because there are too many differences between the years. Maybe someone that has done this can shed more light on what might be involved.
