Question ABS causing rough idle

HI my name is Eric and I am addicted to Fords. That being said I am new to this forum. I have 2002 F-250 5.4L The ABS light comes on periodically causing the engine to run rough and almost stall. The only thing that I have found is some sort of pressure switch at the end of the master cylinder. While checking wiring connections I noticed brake fluid leaking out of the wire connection. My question is does anyone know what this switch is for? I say switch but may be some sort of sending unit.
