Default Adding Cruise Control to 2019 F250

I have a 2019 F250 XL. Did not have cruise control but trying to add it. Replaced the steering wheel assembly because of the switches. I have IDS Ford program. IDS doesn’t see activation of the switches. I have power going to the switch. There’s no parameter to turn the cruise on. I’m thinking it’s programming but I don’t see anything. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. Andy

Welcome to the site..

Did the wheel include the, clock Spring, and SCCM?
Does your As Built data show line/code for 724-03-01 ?
Ive never added CC, Id guess the CS would carry a diff part number over non CC units, and if not installed, a SCCM to network-switch control. Plus line code changes for SCCM, BCM and?

Thanks for your quick response.I double checked, The clock spring & the SCCM use the same part number as one with cruise. There is a line 724-03-01. I talked to someone that did this on an older model. He just replace the wheel assembly but he had to take it to Ford to program. I talked to the Ford dealer & there was a parameter for “speed control” you would have to turn it on. That option doesn’t seem to be there on the newer trucks. There’s one for speed options but the only thing that was there is speed limiter.

I checked as built & for 726-13-01 I have 0084, 2045 & 002A For 720-01-02 I have 2011 & 207B. I'm not sure what you mean by 19, I have not messed around with the programming much so could you explain what the individual codes mean. Exp. the 726-13-01 & the numbers afterwards. I have tried to contact Ford & haven't gotten any kind of response. Thank you for your help.

!9 meaning M/Y 2019..

Whats the line code listed for SCCM on 724-03-01?
I pulled up a random 2019 XL VIN with cruise control for As Built code comparisons,
Also,, Looking at my as built for 2017 XLT w/cruise, and then the random 2019 XL w/cruise

IPC (720-01-02) is the same between your non C/C and the 2019 XL with C/C
BCM (726-03-01) looks like it may need a value change. From 0084, changed to 0088
SCCM (724-03-01) reads 1123-044C-B3 for 2017 and 2019 C/C. Is that the code values listed?
Not a 100% sure on the C/C activation, but have read these 3 line codes work.. That said, make sure to copy your OE data for re-entry should the changes fail.

Also, what level of audio, Sync etc does you truck have?

SCCM 724-03-01, Mine is 1023 044C B2
So, if I change the one value in the BCM from 0084 to 0088
and SCCM change the 2 values in SCCM 724-03-01 to the values you have & see if that works correct?

If that fails I could always go by as built in the Ford web site. I'm leaving in a few minutes so I'll let you know if that works or not. Thanks again

On Friday I tried to change the settings. The only way that I can see to do it is by going into module programming & do all the lines. The SCCM module there's only 11 lines & it let me manually program them. The BCM module has over 180 lines. I wrote everything down but it wouldn't let me manually program anything. Not sure if there's a different program or what. Thank you.

Did you ever get it to work? I would like to add cruise to a 2020 F250 XL.
