After a couple of months going back and forth with Ford the last person said that it can not be added. The person before that said to find a donor vehicle the is set up exactly like yours but has cruise & copy all the module programming & then program yours. What’s the chance of finding a truck exactly like yours. LOL. But the local dealer had it for like a week & tried until they contacted Ford & that’s when there said it couldn’t be done. I gave up & had an aftermarket system installed. It works but I like the factory look. It really doesn’t make much since that it can’t be added. Good luck. If you find a way let me know. Thanks

 

I find it hard to understand that ‘as built’ data, or from a VIN optioned truck couldn’t be alter or module inhaled to activate CC..

 

Believe me. I said the same thing that they make it so hard to add cruise. The whole thing makes no sense. I got tired of dealing with it and had an aftermarket system installed. Thanks for helping me earlier with this. I think I saved the emails from Ford.

 

It can be done. I did it. Enabled cruise in BCM SCCM Changed 724-03-01 1023 044c b2 changed to 1123 044c b3

 

I figured there has to be away to change it, they don't make anything easy anymore. I'll have to save this information. Thank you. Andy

Can you give more details about adding cruise control? I'm trying to find a way to add it to my 2021 F350 XL, but get the same from the dealer that it can't be done. What parts did you have to buy? What switch did you add to the steering wheel?

 

What aftermarket system did you have installed and how satisfied are you with it?
