I just finished reading the latest issue or FOUR WHEELER and they had an article of a air-maximizer by Predator performance claming 3-4 more mpg for only $40!. Is this true or to good to be true. Also do you think it might whistle going down the highway?

Don't know, but my guess:
Its something you put in your stock air intake, probably just in front of the trottlebody. its causes the air to spin into the motors causing more effeciencent air delivary........scam

 

scam indeed...if its like the tornado, i wouldnt spend 50 cents on it...if its a cold air intake, it is somewhat beneficial, but getting a 3 or 4 mpg gain is not realistic.

 

No actually you cut a hole behind your grill then put this vented box to force air in your airbox it might work but "cctxfish" is most probally right although Im sure you'd pick up some numbers being hp, tq or mpg but not what they claim.

 

oh, every little bit of extra air you get in helps, but those companies claims are often exxagerated..
