I have a 2005 F250 and i just bought a Banks 6 Gun Tuner with the PDA and it saysthat you have to put a sensor in the exhaust manifold. Is there any way that you can bypass the sensor. How much of a pain is it to install the sensor. Thanks

 

The sensor is to monitor EGT, Exhaust Gas Temperature. I guess you could do without it, but I wouldn't know why you would want to. Knowing your EGT is real important to not melting your engine down.

 

hi, it doesnt matter -it is a 6.0l it will blow the head gaskets anyway-with or with out the tuner-lol.
