Default RE: Beast

I've got the same type of problem with my '96 460 crew SRW. I've noticed that the factory changed the timing marks on the chain sets around '94or so, retarding the cam timing. A number of people have suggested trading out the timing set for an aftermarket for an older 460, and setting up the cam timing correctly for the earlier motor. I'm not sure if this will help or not, but it's a thought and worth investigating at least. I'm in the middle of another problem at the moment, so this one will have to wait until next spring after plow season.
