Hey guys, it seems the 5.4 mod motor is a bit "weak." In your opinion, what is the best performance upgrades for the money? For example, Everyone says to install a K&N cold air kit, but how much Hp does that really net you? So, what are the best upgrades for the dollar. I'm not interested in building a "temperamental" 500 Hp drag truck. I'm looking for upgrades that will improve the efficiency of my engine. I'm hoping to learn from you guys, that have already been down this road. What items made the most significant change in your trucks performance??

I would say the typical things to let it breathe better. CAI, better exhaust, headers, a computer tune to allow all to work together.

 

Just 1 reply on 5.4 mods?? I guess not too many folks have been "tricking" their truck.
