blower motor

Default blower motor

every ford truck i ever owned would push air like crazy for heat/ac.this 99 f350 i have now feels like low when its on high.all speeds work ,but having crew cab,i need some air flow.is there such thing as high output.

Possibly the intake/plenum restricted with leaves or needles? Or was the truck used in really dusty condtions?

thanks for reply.i have only owned this truck about 6 months.and will be the last.i bought this truck just for towing and so was looking for something in good shape.i think i got a good deal.i know it came from vermont and is all equipped for towing.i really dont know what they did with the thing.i didnt ck for debris .is there a filter.i will ck for leaves or pine needles .

I've seen a few of these that had been used in real dusty conditions where dirt formed a blockage against the evaporator restricting the air passing through, same with any trash that can make it's way into the box. You might try pulling the blower and look into the plenum for anything that would restrict the flow. Make sure all the control doors ect. function

There isn't a filter..

yes great.thanks,ill pull that motor ,ck for debris and i wanna see what that fan looks like.thanks again,will post back.
