Hazards work?
The stop lamps feed through the multi function switch (turn switch).. The stop lamps share the brake pedal switch function and fuse, but splice/split off to both the high mount lamp and then to the rear stops.. High mount lamp function doesn't go through the multi function.. Try the hazards, then spray some penetrant along side the button and cycle the switch repeatedly to see if the stop lamps function.. If not,, and the fuses are good, and you've checked for 12V at the stop lamp bulb connectors and/or at the lower rear chassis harness connector with a test light, you can pull the steering column covers to expose the multi function switch and harness connector.. The brake lamp feed into the multi function is a LG wire,, the feeds out of the multi function for the stops are LG/O and O/LB at the connector.. If you have feed voltage in on the LG wire with the brakes applied, and nothing out on the LG/O and O/LB then MF switch is bad..
