Default A/C issue I think

I’m new to this forum and was wondering if anyone can help me out.i have a 1996 f350 7.3 I’m have A/c issue and not sure if these parts do anything else.
im also having issues with overdrive not wanting to kick in at all
It was before the hvac pump in cab ig just stopped working still not sure if it’s the pump or not.

Because diesel engines do not have vacuum available as do gasoline engines,theybhave a separate vacuum pump on the engine that is belt driven.

They do get tired and require replacement. It is there, look for it.
