Recently I started to experience a cold stalling problem with my E350 van. When the truck is started for the first time each day it starts as it should and will idle. when the truck is put in gear and teh gas pedal depressed, it will stall. The truck re-starts without a problem, but will stall several more times before I can get the truck to roll. Once it starts moving it is ok. During the stalls the "service engine soon" light comes on. The light resets itself after the engine is turned off. The truck will start and go fine after it has sat for several hours.

I replaced the air and fuel filters and pulled the level under the hood to drain any water from the fuel/water drain.

This truck is used daily and is the primary vehicle used in my business so I need to get this problem resolved ASAP.

Any infomation I can get to resolve this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Have a few idea's, but if you could have the code/s read it may help with a solid direction. Some of the aftermarket parts house will read the code at no charge. Some have discontinued the service because of problems with customers and part sales/returns (liabilty) so call around..
