Default compass calibration

I have a 2003 F250 I live in memphis tn so my zone is 8. Everytime i set the compass by the next day it is out again. I have tried using zone 7 and 9 with no luck. has anyone else had this problem and if so how and could it be fixed?

how are you recallibrating it? all you have to is drive around in circles until the compassreads. i am assuming that you are talking about the compass in your overhead console.
