Default Coolant temp sender

Hello, i'm new here and I am working on a 04 F250 with the 6.8. It is showing a false overheat condition and I have replaced the cylinder head temp sensor but that didn't change anything. I have not been able to find any other sender that is in the coolant anywhere. I even went to the dealer to have them look up where it was and they could not tell me. My scanner shows 2 readings for coolant temp and then the cylinder head temp as well. They all seem to be within 1 degree of each other but I can unplug the CHT and it will go to say room temperature and one of the coolant temp entries goes to -40 but there is still one entry reading coolant temp. I've been told there are 2 coolant temp senders but I cannot find any. I do ho hope that someone here has had this problem as well and can point me in the right direction. Thank you.

There "usually" is a temperature sensor for the computer and a "sender" for the dash temperature indicator. Unfortunately, I cannot tell you of a location.I assume you have a dash gauge and I would not rule that out either.
