Delaminating fuel tank
I have evidence in the fuel filters that my fuel tank is delaminating. If I replace the tank, is it necessary to replace the lines and injectors too? I've been told any delimitation can screw up the whole fuel system downline of the tank. Any ideas?
The fuel filters should protect the injectors.
I would (at a minimum) "rod out" the fuel line (tick piano wire or equivalent) from the tank to the primary fuel filter, and then blow the line clear.
What year vehicle are you driving? Cab and chassis?
EDIT - I see in your head gasket thread you have a 2006 F350. They didn't come w/ "laminated fuel tanks".
More than likely, the fuel pickup tube screen came apart.
