Default engine just cut off going 65 on interstate

Hi, my 2006 f350 superduty kingranch 6.0L the motor cut off no warning signs, all gauges where in normal ranges, ive checked alll fuses and batteries they were at 12.8 volts. the fuel pump is working glow plugs lite works so its getting power, but the cluster where it should show mpg and trip and mileage on the truck just has dashes on when i turn the key to start it nothing happens i have the wrench, engine lite and abs lite all stay lite after i try to start it. ive had it towed to a ford dealer but it will be a couple of weeks before they even look at it, you guys have any idea what it could be? im leaning toward the pcm but i just dont know thx in advance for you help.

I would bet a substantial amount that it isn't the PCM. If you have a wrench light then there is a code stored. Identifying that code would be helpful.

What can we do to help if you don't have the truck. Various electrical shorts are a little too common and require testing to identify. The shorts can be in the wiring or in the electronics of various components.
