Default Excursion rear shock absorbers

The top bolt on my left rear shock absorber went missing - again. I went to the dealer who installed the shocks and replaced the bolt about a year ago and he couldn't believe the bolt came off again. It turns out that Ford (I guess in their cost-cutting frenzy) does not use a nut, but they use a clip similar to ones used to hold body parts on. It's a clip that slides into the frame and the shock bolt is threaded into it. I couldn't believe it! Especially on an Excursion diesel. I suppose the F250's are the same way since the Excursion uses the F250 frame.
Not much I can do about it, but I thought I'd share this with you guys and see if anyone else has experienced any problems.
