just wondering if putting a plow on the truck would screw up the waranty? Also is there any thing on the vehicle that I should keep my eye on for premature wear ,or mechanical problems?--thanks

a plow will add extra weight to the front of your truck, keep an eye on ball joints, tie rods and other suspension parts.plowing is also verry rough on transmissions{tons of shifting form foward to reverse}. I would service the tranny after each season.also some plows restrict air flow to the radiator making your truck run hot, keep an eye on your temp gauge and try to keep the plow as low as possible when going from job to job.
hope this helps, good luck.

i blew the front main seal in my transmission by plowing in 4High....guy at the tranny shop told me to always plow in 4Low. haven't had a problem since, and I've got 206k miles on the old girl. Oh I also added an extra leaf to the front springs to help hold the extra weight. no other problems for me.
