99 Ford F-350 Diesel won't start. Glow plug light shows for a second then "Check Engine Light". It will crank over, but won't start. When you turn on the key, we can hear a clicking noise from behind the instrument cluster. A couple of days ago, it was stalling and restarting for no apparent reason. Any suggestions?

 

Has the vehicle been scanned for codes? These units have had problems with the synchronizer Ford part # F7TZ-12K073-A. I dont know if this is your problem but good luck
