F350 + BFG AT K02 = lousy in snow...options?

One other thing I should have mentioned in my first post that might be making a difference. This F350 has a BIG Ranch Hand bumper/cattle/brush guard on it (came with the truck). According to the Ranch Hand website it weighs in at around 290lbs, so that's nearly 300 lbs hanging off the front end of the truck. With an empty bed that would seem to make the rear wheel traction situation even worse, right?
