Welcome to the site.,

What year 350?

Did you look in the FORScan config/programming forum? I thought there was a few posts about IPC block code rewrite for canceling the chime function..

What if you just left the windows down?
As you are aware, when the doors are in the open position , courtesy lights also are on and drawing power from the battery..If done long enough , it could cause a starting problem.

na way to much time and effort to put the windows down every couple mins up and down none stop then ill be putting window motors in it I know I can stop the chime by removing the door panel and short capping the door latch plug or flicking the striker on the latch but I would like to disable it easily with forscan like you can in the f150s

That was the first mod I did on my 6.0L. When getting in and out of the deer blind, I didn't want any chance of the chime going off!

Door chime solved

Well for all of those that think you can't disable the door chime on a 2019-2021 F-250 & F-350, you are wrong. Out of personal necessity I took my 2019 F-250 to the local repair shop that is well trusted where I live and when they looked at it they said there is no way to turn it off, just like everyone else thinks. I had previously called reputable dealers as well and asked them about it and received the same response as everyone else. What I did find out from my local repair shop is he the schematic for the key in the ignition. It's pretty simple. A power wire comes from the fuse panel (fuse #18) on the passenger kick panel to the key switch and when the key is inserted another wire sends the signal to a computer. So I traced the wire to the key switch and unplugged it. It's the blue/grey wire that goes into a connector on the LH side of the steering column. The plastic is easy to take off of the steering column and you Do Not need to cut the wire. Unplug the connector, pop the red thing out of the connector and use a little pick or screw driver to release the terminal. Its the 3rd wire up from the bottom of the connector. Everything else will still function as it's supposed to with this wire removed. The only thing that is disabled is the stupid door chime when the key is inserted. And it didn't take a genius to figure this out.
Your Welcome!

3rd wire up, but it is the 4th terminal

I posted how to do it on here but for some reason it's not here. You don't need to use forescan. It's as simple as removing a wire from the plug on the LH side of the steering column for the key switch. It's the 3rd wire up from the bottom blu/gry on the 2019 and newer F-250/350. Not sure on the older models because I haven't seen them.
