Default f350 power steering/brake issue

Hi guys, im new here and desperate searching for a solution to a problem..

While relocating the Power Stearing cooler the system got air in it. I was told to raise the front wheels and stear from side to side, pump the brakes and add atf fluid if necesary.. I have done this many times and it has not solve a thing. When i turn the engine on and test the brakes, the p/s fluid foams up.

Can anyone offer a solution to this problem?? thanks guys!

Check the rear brake self adjusters. Sounds like they aren't working. They have a tendency to corrode and freeze up. Also, you might try backing up several times and hitting the brake, this is the procedure to get the self adjusters to adjust the clearance if they aren't frozen or the adjuster arms or star wheels aren't worn. Don't remember if this vehicle has disc brakes in front. If it does, make sure the caliper slides aren't jammed with rust and grit so the calipers can't move and compensate for pad wear. Let me know how you make out. Thanks,,,,, hanky

Did you have the engine running when you had it up off the ground?

The engine has to be running to circulate the P/S fluid when you turn the steering wheel from side to side. Be sure to keep the level full when you do this or you will just keep circulating air into the fluid. Let me know how you make out. Thanks,,,,,,,,hanky
