So just found out about the new Ford F-150 and that it has a generator! But We used our 2016 F350 for 8 days straight, all day and night to power our RV so we could have heat during the coldest days! We are in central Texas and will be without power or water for 2-7 weeks! Glad Ford made their trucks super tuff to provide us with essential heat!! Thank you!!!!
Glad you and yours are safe. We’re completely self reliant, whole house, because of CA fire outages. But like you, my 250 has the 110 inverter. Comes in handy for small projects and such!
I added 2 more batteries to my 2006 F250. Also have a 3000 watt inverter. Man it is nice to be able to run the refrigerator and freezer and a big electric blanket when needed (wish it could get my central air fan motor started, but it is just a tad bit too small).
It’s been amazing having our truck! The truck has had my incubator with 22 chicken eggs and they are hatching this Saturday! I started it 6 days before the power went out, candled them and they are viable! We are safe and warm and I am thankful for that!
