Default gas mileage helppppppp

hello i have a 06 f-350 with the 6.0 reg cab with a cap on the truck and i can;t get any better then 13 mpg's on the highway......i changed the intake to a banks and i only got to 13 with it before it was like a lil over 12.....and i don;t go over 70 with the truck actually trying to not go over 65 to see if thats better.......i hear other guys get 18-20 how can there be such a difference.......help me please

have the computer reprogamed. i have a 03 f250 and i get 20 mpg highway.and 3:73 diff. you probley have 4:11 but it shouldnt make that much difference.i only get 13 or 14 stop and go driving.

no i have some friends at the Ford dealer that worked on my computer ,without any progammers.

You may want to check out Bullydog. I would call them and see what they can do for you. From what I understand, with diesel engines, is you can actually select the tune on the fly.
