Question Help! Losing brake fluid around the fuel tank?

Hey guys, i just returned from a week long trip in VA. My old 1999 F-250 was at home. Today, i started her up, and pushed on the brake pedal. Unfortunately, the pedal went all the way to the floor. Yikes! I turned her off, and popped the hood. Sure enough the master cylinder was dry. I had checked the fluid level a couple of weeks ago and it was fine. So, I climbed under the truck, no leaking wheel cylinders, but... a puddle of brake fluid running down the side of the fuel tank. What could be causing this? Tomorrow i will try to drop the tank, where i can look inside the frame rail and see what has happened. First of all, i've never dropped a fuel tank, so anybody got any helpful hints or suggestions? 2nd of all, has anybody ran into this brake problem before? Not sure if I have a brake line that has rusted into, or maybe there is some type of soft line, or equalizer block back there? I haven't a clue. If anybody has any idea's what i'm up against, i'd appreciate some help / advice. i need this truck back on the road for work Monday.

THANKS GUYZ,
mach
