Default Ignition switch replacement on 81 F250

My truck is cutting out while I am driving. When I jiggle the tumbler it kicks back in. How do I pull cylinder and access the switch assembly? Found a replacement switch, I thinnk the tumbler is OK.
Thanks Stan

Found the switch halfway down the steering column. With a cover off the lower dash, lowering the steering wheel and some contortions the switch is replaced. Found some info in another forum for the help. Thanks, Stan

Thanks Haypower, I appreciate the thoughts. My 98 F250 is in pieces in the yard in single digit weather and had to keep my old 81 up and running. Not a great mechanic but am old school. Just have to be smarter than the truck. Lost the power steering cooler, power steering pump, transmission cooling lines and changed the waterpump and plugs while I was at it. Still am waiting on the new cooling lines to finish that one up. Both trucks decided to give me the patience lessons at the same time. The 81 gets a carb rebuild today as I am off from work. The choke sticks open and is hard to start in 0 degree wither. Thanks for checking in. I will be begging for help again soon I am sure.
Thanks, Stan
