Injector Drive Module
Okay this is my first... I have a 03 Ford F30 Super Duty. 6.0, 4x4, etc... The truck quit running. My brother has all data and we pulled the codes and it said my icp sensor had failed. We replaced it. Truck ran. Checked codes again and it said icp too high. We unplugged the icp sensor to see if it said that the icp was too low. It did not. We checked the wires to the icp and to the computer. The computer said it has less than 5ohms so I figure it is my computer. When I called to order a new PCM those people told me to check my injector drive module first, the only problem is I don't know how... Can someone help me please??? By the way my glow plugs haven't worked from the get go... Do these problems have anything to do with each other???[

The 7.3 had an IDM (Injector Driver Module) for early MY 03.. The 03 6.0 has a FICM (Fuel injection Control Module) mounted above the left valve cover.. The glow plugs are controlled through the GPCM (Glow Plug Control Module)and both modulesare commanded by the PCM.. What was theduty cycle for IPR? Was there a DTC P2284/88 as well
