Intake Heater use and removal
I have a 99, F-350, 6 speed with the 7.3. 170,000 miles.
Truck runs fine and delivers 18 MPG at 65MPH.
Saw a vid about removing the Air Intake Heater (plug) as it is according to the vid.
" not used much, and causes turbulence prior to the turbo"
Anyone familiar with this modification and the pro-s and con-s?
When does the intake heater get activated?
