Hi my name is mike and im looking to buy a 99 f250 7.3 diesel with 258k miles but said motor still runs strong. the trans and tourqe converter were completely rebuilt and upgraded 500 miles ago. just replaced drag link, tie rod end, adusting sleeve, power steering pump. replaced right upper and lower ball joints, serviced the rear diff. I never had a ford powerstroke and would like to know if this would be a good truck to buy and how much longer the motor will last????????????

Good engine ,normally. Regular maintenance helps keep it running longer.

 

you could easily get 500k out of it if you kept care of it and regularly maintained it
