i traded my 01 dodge ram v10 torque monster for a 99 f250 7.3, i use this truck to haul travel trailers cross country, i'm in need of a tuner or chip, the only mods on my truck is the air box that i took a hammer to, i'm going to either A. move the air filter to the front alongside the radiator or poke it through the hood, when i can find a descent priced 4" exhaust that will be the next thing i do, but is there a preference as far as tuners or chips that i should be looking into? and any other mpg gainers?

 

Do the 4" exhaust first, getting more air in w/no way to better get it out won't help. Do the turbo back.
Then get a Stage II intake.
Last thing is the tunner/chip. Can't recommend as the only thing I ever did to my '01 is the above.
