Default Offset Rear Main Seal

Hello everyone. I am new to this forum so I would like to say hi. I have a 1985 F350 with a 460 I am rebuilding.

I have taken the crank shaft out and have realized the rear main seal has created a groove about .004" deep. I am not sure if this is leaking as the engine itself was so dirty that it was impossible to tell.

Anyway, on to my question. Is the groove going to be an issue and if so can an offset rear main seal be found and do they work well?

Thanks everyone for your help.
